The District provides fire protection and emergency medical services through a contract with the Santa Clara County Central Fire Protection District. The District directly provides brush clearance and hydrant maintenance services.
The District encompasses approximately 11.5 square miles and provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the Town of Los Altos Hills and to the unincorporated area adjacent (Loyola and San Antonio Hills area) to the Town. The District also provides fire protection services to the Los Trancos Woods area, which is adjacent to both San Mateo County and the City of Palo Alto.
