Services Provided: 

The District provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the residents of the District and by contract to areas outside its boundaries. The District is designated as the fire marshal for all unincorporated lands in Santa Clara County.

Estimated Service Population: 
156,660 residing within the District's boundaries and service by contract to an additional population of 101,655.
Service Area: 

The District's boundaries encompass 132 square miles which includes the cities of Cupertino, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno and a portion of Saratoga, as well as rural unincorporated lands in western Santa Clara County and unincorporated islands within the City of San Jose. The District has a contract with the cities of San Jose and Milpitas for service to the unincorporated islands and to the lower eastern foothills. The District provides service outside its boundaries by contract to the cities of Campbell and Los Altos and to the Los Altos Hills County Fire District and to the Saratoga Fire Protection District.
